Hello Kiddos (and parents)!

It is almost time for the SUMMER LIBRARY PROGRAM….also known as SLP!

Stop by any of the public libraries in Lowndes County (Columbus, Crawford, Caledonia, or Artesia) and register your child for the SLP!

We have some great things going on at the library this summer for the kids. Registration is from May 18th until June 8th. The first program is June 2nd!

This is a listing of all the programs for the Columbus Public Library….

June 2nd, 2:00 to 3:00

Andrea Schuhmann – Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Outreach Program – Program will feature a baby alligator, baby turtles, and a beautiful corn snake!

June 9th, 2:00 to 3:00

Chris Green – Mississippi Department of Transportation – Program will feature Myrtle the Turtle and her friend Albert, teaching everyone how to keep Mississippi beautiful!

June 16th, 2:00 to 3:00

Deborah Guist – The English School of Dance – Program will feature students and instructors from the English School of Dance performing various dance routines.

June 17th – READING LOGS DUE BY 6:00 PM.

June 23rd, 2:00 to 4:00

Inky the Clown! & Awards Days – Program will feature a 45 minutes to 1 hour performance by the ‘ol Inkster, Inky the Clown! Afterwards, Inky will help hand out the awards day prizes and certificates to the kids who turned in their reading logs!
