Hello Kiddos (and parents)!!!

Guess what this week is???? It….is….CHILDREN’S BOOK WEEK!!!!

In honor of Children’s Book Week, the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library and Books-a-Million (BAM) have teamed up for a rocking fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Leigh Mall Books-a-Million. Come by the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library this week and pick up a voucher for 10% off of your purchase! When you present the voucher at check-out, you will not only get 10% off, but you will also be donating 10% of your purchase to the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library! Can you think of a better way to save money and support your public library? I can’t!!!

While this is a fundraiser, it is also going to be a fun day! From 11:00am until 5:00pm all kids and parents are asked to come to Books-a-Million dressed as their favorite book character! The best costume will win an awesome prize! There will also be a Twisted Storytime and lots of fun games throughout the afternoon.

I hope that you all can make it! It is going to be a lot of fun and I am super excited about it!

Oh yea, you can also register for the Summer Library Program while you are at Books-a-Million!!!!!!

Don’t forget to pick up your voucher at the library!!
